Virtual Holiday Gathering for Peace December 16th @ 7:00 p.m.

Join the Coalition for Peace Action at 7 PM on Wednesday, December 16, for the Coalition for Peace Action's annual Holiday Gathering for Peace. We are celebrating the ratification by the 50th country of the UN's Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), which means that it will enter into force in January 2021.

We will have an evening Zoom program with guest speaker Seth Shelden, the United Nations Liaison for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize-winning coalition working to prohibit and eliminate nuclear weapons. In this capacity, he assists governments in signing, ratifying, and otherwise acceding to the TPNW and he represents ICAN in promoting the entry into force and universalization of the treaty.

Registration required to participate in this gathering.
