Moral March on Washington - June 18th

Dear NJ Poor People’s Campaign members, friends, and allies,

We have exciting news! The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is organizing a “Mass Poor People’s and Low-wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls” mobilization in Washington DC on June 18, 2022! All are invited and encouraged to attend. The march starts at 10 a.m. at a location TBD near the Capitol Building. Buses to DC will be available at several locations throughout the area.

The march will be preceded in the coming months by mobilization tour marches throughout the country, including in New York, NY on April 11th and Philadelphia, PA on April 25th. As with all PPC rallies, impacted leaders from dozens of states will lead the speaking sessions. There are also singing activities each month from the national Theomusicology team.

NJ PPC is looking to get as many people as possible to DC on June 18. We are asking everyone to spread the word to all your friends, groups, and networks. Please let us know if you are interested in helping with our planning and mobilizing efforts in any way and/or if you have any questions! We can be reached at [insert contact info]. We can send you promotional digital flyers and videos in English and Spanish and regular email updates from our Coordinating Committee.
