Join the YWCA to Stand Against Racism April 22nd - 25th

We invite YWCAs and allied groups to focus their events and organizing on the myriad of racial justice issues that impact the health and safety of communities of color. Most importantly, we invite you to explore how From Declarations to Change: Addressing Racism as a Public Health Crisis can advance the work of justice in your community and empower people of color.

April 22 -- Thought-Provoking Talks: a panel discussion on the effects racism has on health, healthcare access, and more with community experts and leaders.

April 23 -- Youth Rally and Open Mic: a safe space for youth to share their feelings and experiences through poetry, speeches, and music.

April 24 -- Social Media Day: a day of action to spread digital awareness of systemic racism as a public health crisis.

April 25 -- Contact Your Legislators: a call to action to urge legislators to acknowledge racism as a public health crisis.
