We know this nation was built on stolen land and broken treaties -- and that Indigenous people today continue to be subjected to racist violence in the form of police brutality, dangerous pipelines, and disinvestment in community infrastructure. We also know that the things Indigenous-led movements are demanding are a matter of life and death for us all.
