New Jersey Peace Action Annual Fall Peace Gathering
Join us for our most popular annual event! This year we will be going virtual, with the event being broadcast via Zoom, accessible to anyone with a compute or smart phone.
We will be hearing from Andrew Bacevich, president of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft as he speaks on Reflections on the Election. We may or may not know the outcome of our presidential election, but there will no doubt be plenty to talk about and discuss.
In addition, we will hear from Jeff Hoey, Executive Director of New Jersey Peace Action on State of the Peace.
Fall NJ Association Meeting
Greetings to all! Attached is a flyer regarding our upcoming Fall meeting of the New Jersey Association. The meeting will focus on exploring and addressing system racism through the lens of the church.
We will have two excellent panels that will offer information and ideas on how to address this important concern in our congregations and communities. Please see the attached flyer for more information. The meeting will take place on ZOOM, and there is no charge.
Letter to our Elected Officials
At our recent Congregational meeting we voted to send a letter from the Congregation to our elected officials, which Council has done. You may also use the links below to download a copy of the letter to send on your own behalf. A list of local representatives and instructions for submitting a letter to the editor are also attached.
