COAT DRIVE:
Each year, Grace UCC co-sponsors at least one coat drive with the Hunterdon Hispanos organization.  Led by one of our members, Kelly Ospina, executive director of Hunterdon Hispanos, much needed winter clothing is collected and then distributed to those who need it.








































Thank you to all who helped set up, who contributed clothing, etc.  Hundreds of items were distributed. 
Thank you for bringing peace and warmth to many this Christmas season.

A November 20, 2008 e-mail from Kelly O:

"Hi Pastor Dan,

I just wanted to say thank you for everything yesterday. We estimate there was probably about 100 to 125 people who came through last night when all was said and done. I especially enjoyed seeing the two communities--anglo and hispanic--working together on this project. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Howard, Elaine and Linda. I know there were other Grace people in and out during the course of the evening, but in all the activity I wasn't able to keep track of who I spotted here and there. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated a coat or came out to help.

I'm attaching a couple of photos from yesterday for the website.

The volunteers....Thank you to all who made this event a success. Merry Christmas!Coats and more coats.There was an affordable health care representative there as well...
THE LAST COAT DRIVE WAS HELD ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2010, AT 7 PM.
So many coats...the piles were high.Some came by bicyle to obtain coats and other items...Many coats came from the Solebury school.Some of the many volunteers...The kitchen crew...Kelly and Dan...Wendy and Lisandro...
An e-mail received (November 18, 2010) from Kelly O:

Dear friends,

Thank you to each of your for coming out to help with last night's coat distribution. I think this year we ended up collecting more coats and winter clothing than we ever have before, which was amazing.
