Our collections for the Flemington Area Food Pantry are held the last Sunday of every month. Please bring the needed items (listed below) and place them in the blue bin marked "food pantry".
FLEMINGTON AREA FOOD PANTRY
I wanted to personally thank each and every community
member who gave so generously to the Flemington Area
Food Pantry this holiday season. Your contributions were
greatly appreciated!
As we start 2012 you will notice that our needs list has
changed just a bit. We are hoping that this year we can
offer healthier meal choices to our clients. We are trying o
ur hardest to be conscious of nutritional labels; and choosing
our items to stock our shelves with this in mind. Hence, our
goal is to purchase items that are lower in sugar, fat and sodium.
This month we are asking for the following donations:
- Boxed cereal, low in sugar high in fiber
- Wheat or Smart Sense Pasta any variety
- Tomato Sauce
- Canned Tuna or Chicken
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Oatmeal
- Mayonnaise/Ketchup/Mustard
- Household Cleaning Supplies
- Shampoo
- Fresh Produce (keeping in mind our hours of operation)
Finally, if you are interested in being added to our monthly notice of the pantry’s needs, simply send an email to kmyowell@na2k.net and add “Need List” in the subject line.
